Prevention of Child Abuse

The national project of the Exchange Club since 1979: helping every child grow up safe.

About the program

Protecting children, strengthening families

Since 1979, Exchange clubs across the country have made preventing child abuse their national project. The work centers on raising awareness of child abuse and on how it can be prevented.

Local clubs shape their child abuse prevention work to fit the needs of their own communities, and every club's effort adds to a national mission.

If a child needs help

The Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline is free and open 24/7: 1-800-422-4453. If a child is in immediate danger, call 911.
